This role is critical for the financial integrity of a global organization, focusing on the timely and accurate execution of financial consolidation, group reporting, and forecasting for all subsidiary entities. The specialist ensures strict adherence to global reporting standards and complete financial compliance.
Reports to: Senior Finance Executive
Core Responsibilities
Group Reporting & IFRS Compliance: Drive the end-to-end consolidation and delivery of all year-end and quarterly financial statements, ensuring mandatory compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal policies.
Financial Planning & Control (FP&A): Prepare comprehensive quarterly management accounts and conduct insightful FP&A analytical reviews. Develop robust internal controls and identify process improvements across budgeting and forecasting.
Technical Accounting & Stakeholder Management: Draft technical accounting position memos and manage key relationships with critical external partners (auditors, financial institutions, tax advisors).
Treasury and Liquidity: Oversee group cash flow, including detailed forecasting, treasury operations, and foreign exchange (FX) management, to guarantee sufficient working capital.
Operational Excellence: Authorize group-level payments, standardize reporting requirements across the business, and collaboratively support the professional development of team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience & Technical Foundation: Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, coupled with exceptional, mandatory knowledge of IFRS and strong analytical capabilities.
Technical Tools: Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications (e.g., MS Excel) and standard business suites.
Interpersonal & Communication: Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills, with proven ability to operate and collaborate effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to work independently, proactively solve complex financial problems, and successfully prioritize and manage multiple assignments.
