Job Title: Hadoop Engineer ODP Platform
Location: Remote
Type of employment: 6 months Contract
Responsibilities:
1 Hadoop Ecosystem Expertise
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Hadoop and related components HDFS YARN MapReduce Experience with ODP Open Data Platform stack and enterprise grade big data platforms
2 Data Engineering Tools
- Python For scripting data manipulation and pipeline development
- Apache Airflow Workflow orchestration and scheduling Apache Spark Streaming Realtime data processing and stream analytics
3 Big Data Frameworks
- Familiarity with tools like Hive HBase Pig and Kafka is a plus
- Experience in building scalable ETL pipelines and data ingestion frameworks
4 Infrastructure Data Analytics
- Experience analyzing telemetry logs or performance data from infrastructure systems Ability to derive insights from operational data eg server metrics network logs
5 Data Modeling Transformation
- Understanding of data schemas partitioning and optimization for largescale datasets
