We are seeking an exceptional Nursery Head to lead our dedicated team and foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for our children. About the Role
As Nursery Head, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding are met. This is a hands-on role where you'll inspire and guide our team, creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for both children and staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, managing, and motivating the nursery team.
- Ensuring excellent planning and organisational skills are applied to all aspects of nursery operations.
- Acting as a positive role model for all staff.
- Maintaining an excellent working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
- Upholding an in-depth understanding of Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures.
- Working collaboratively to ensure a smooth and successful nursery environment.

Who We're Looking For
We are searching for a dynamic individual with:
- A childcare qualification of Level 3 or higher.
- Proven experience as a Deputy Manager, Senior in Charge, or prior management experience in a similar early years setting.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- A passion for early years education and child development.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and welfare.
- Knowledge of the independent school sector is an advantage but not essential.
