Are you a passionate historian available for an immediate start? We are currently recruiting for an ambitious History Teacher to join a high-performing "All-through" Academy in the Thamesmead area.
This is a long-term temporary assignment designed for an educator who can hit the ground running and maintain high academic standards through to the May half-term.
The Assignment
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until May Half-Term (Potential for extension)
Pay Rate: £150 - £200 per day PAYE
Curriculum: KS3 and KS4 History (GCSE)

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, well-sequenced History lessons that challenge pupils of all abilities.
Utilise effective behaviour management strategies in line with the school's structured policy.
Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure GCSE cohorts remain on track.
Collaborate with a vibrant Humanities department to share resources and best practice.
What You'll Need
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Subject Specialism: A degree in History or a closely related field.
Proven Track Record: Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum at secondary level.
Availability: Ability to commence the role immediately.
