Job Title: Secondary Humanities Teacher (History & Geography)
Salary/Rate: £150 - £220 per day (Outer London / Fringe MPS equivalent)
Location: Loughton / West Essex (Central Line Link)

Randstad Education is currently partnering with a prominent secondary academy in West Essex to recruit enthusiastic Humanities Teachers specialising in History and Geography. Ideally situated just minutes from the Central Line, this school offers Outer London / Fringe pay weighting, making it a lucrative and seamless commute for London-based teachers as well as local Essex educators. We have immediate opportunities spanning flexible daily cover, short-term assignments, and full-time long-term placements across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging History and Geography lessons aligned with national curriculum guidelines.
- Maintain excellent classroom organisation to create an inspiring, productive learning space.
- Monitor student development, provide meaningful feedback, and implement structured lesson plans effectively.
Candidate Requirements:
- QTS or QTLS status (ECTs/NQTs and experienced educators welcomed; London-based applicants strongly encouraged).
- Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, or Humanities.
- Active Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or readiness to undergo a new check).
- Dedication to raising achievement standards across Key Stages 3 and 4.
