What We Are Looking For
We welcome applications from both experienced practitioners and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who possess:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong undergraduate degree in a Humanities subject.
A proven track record of delivering high-quality, innovative lessons that secure excellent progress at KS3 and KS4.
A deep understanding of child development and effective classroom management strategies.
A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all children.
Collaborative Spirit: The ability to work within a dedicated, friendly team of secondary specialists.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver a curriculum that meets the needs of every student, fostering a love for History, Geography, or RS.
Maintain a stimulating, organized, and inspiring learning environment.
Assess, record, and report on the development and attainment of pupils to ensure high outcomes.
Contribute to the wider life of the academy and the local South East London community.
