... - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.

Core Responsibilities
- Lesson Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in line with curriculum guidelines.
- Student Assessment: Monitor, record, and assess student progress regularly, offering constructive oral and written feedback to drive improvement.
- Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a safe, orderly, and positive classroom environment using constructive behaviour management strategies.
- Curriculum Enhancement: Adapt teaching resources and learning materials to cater to a diverse range of learning styles and academic abilities.
- Safeguarding: Uphold strict safeguarding and child protection standards at all times to promote student welfare.
- Parental Communication: Attend parent's evenings and prepare clear, accurate academic reports to keep families informed of pupil achievement.
- Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department to share best practices, update schemes of work, and plan resources.
- Inclusion & Support: Tailor learning strategies to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
- Professional Development: Engage in internal training sessions, INSET days, and performance reviews to continuously refine teaching practice.
