My client a leader in their field are looking to take on an infrastructure support engineer on a contract basis. Play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and improving the IT backbone that powers healthcare across East Sussex.
THIS ROLE IS INSIDE IR35
What you'll do:
Provide high-quality 2nd & 3rd line support for networks, servers, and core infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Support major projects including domain migrations and infrastructure upgrades.
Work with third-party suppliers and internal teams to deliver seamless solutions.
Share your expertise, mentoring junior staff and contributing to service improvements.
What we're looking for:
Strong experience in IT support (2nd/3rd line).
Solid knowledge of Active Directory, VMware, networking, and server technologies.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills - able to translate tech into plain English.
A team player who thrives in a busy, collaborative environment.
