The Opportunity
Are you an ambitious Assistant Site Manager, Finishing Foreman, or trade-up professional looking for a structured step up? We are seeking a driven, high-energy Junior Site Manager to join an ongoing, fast-paced volume housing development in Wantage.
This role is specifically created for someone who has a solid foundation in new-build housing but is hungry to learn, adapt, and grow. Working closely alongside an experienced management team, you will be given the support, training, and "room to run" needed to fast-track your career into full Site Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the senior site team in managing daily operations on a fast-paced volume building site.
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring work moves forward productively and safely.
- Conduct site inductions, enforce strict Health & Safety compliance, and deliver toolbox talks.
- Manage quality control, driving plots through to high-standard CML finishes.
- Maintain clear records, site diaries, and progress reports.
What We Are Looking For
- You must have prior experience working on a volume new-build housing site (e.g., with a developer or major residential contractor).
- Someone who is proactive, open to feedback, and possesses excellent "learning space" to absorb new skills.
- Valid SMSTS, First Aid, and an active CSCS Card are essential.
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with site trades and subbies.
