What the Role Involves
- Deliver high-quality, pre-planned KS1 lessons that inspire curiosity and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
- Establish clear boundaries and maintain a calm, structured space for children to thrive.
- Complete light day-to-day marking and ongoing pupil assessments to ensure continuous learning.
- Partner effectively with classroom TAs and permanent staff to maintain consistency and high standards.
What You'll Need
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (ECTs and experienced teachers are equally welcome).
- Strong understanding and practical knowledge of the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.
- An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available for this role).
- Two recent, positive professional teaching references.
