📝 Job Role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in a child's academic journey. Your responsibilities include:
Delivering high-impact, engaging lessons in Literacy and Numeracy tailored to Years 1 and 2.
Supporting pupils through critical milestones, including the Phonics Screening Check and KS1 SATs.
Maintaining a positive and productive classroom atmosphere through effective behaviour management.
Adapting quickly to different school environments and following pre-set lesson plans with enthusiasm.
🎓 Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
Essential: You must have previous UK experience teaching within a Key Stage 1 setting.
A strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and Phonics schemes (e.g., Read Write Inc).
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for a new one).
