The KS2 Expert: High Impact, Zero PaperworkWe are seeking confident KS2 Teachers to provide expert cover across Years 3, 4, 5, and 6. This role is ideal for practitioners who love the "Senior" end of primary school-where you can dive into complex history, advanced maths, and sophisticated literature-without the burden of data tracking, SATs accountability, or weekend marking.
- Junior Years Focus: Lead classrooms through the broad KS2 curriculum, fostering the stamina and critical thinking skills required for academic success.
- Subject Depth: Use your expertise to deliver high-quality lessons in core subjects and foundation topics, from the Vikings to long division.
- Work-Life Balance: Leave at the end of the school day! Enjoy the challenge of Upper and Lower KS2 with no "take-home" planning or parent-teacher consultations.
- Weekly Pay: Competitive daily rates of £100 - 160, paid every Friday via Randstad.
As a Key Stage 2 Supply Teacher, you are a mentor and academic guide, maintaining high expectations for work and behaviour.
- Dynamic Lesson Delivery: Facilitate lessons that challenge "Greater Depth" learners while providing scaffolding for those who need extra support.
- Classroom Authority: Quickly establish rapport with older primary pupils, using a sophisticated and respectful approach to behaviour management.
- Adaptive Teaching: Step into any Junior classroom and immediately identify the needs of the room, whether supporting Year 4 with times tables or Year 6 with comprehension.
- Collaborative Leadership: Work effectively with Year Group Leads and TAs to ensure the school's routines are followed and the day's learning objectives are met.
We are looking for qualified professionals who are specialists in the Junior curriculum. You are an ideal fit if you:
- Hold QTS: You have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Are a KS2 Specialist: You have a solid understanding of the National Curriculum across both Lower and Upper Key Stage 2.
- Are Versatile & Resilient: You are comfortable moving between year groups and can adapt your tone and teaching style to suit 7-year-olds and 11-year-olds alike.
- Are Committed: You hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing to apply) and are 100% dedicated to Safeguarding.
