Job Title: General Construction Labourer
Location: Yeovil, Somerset (BA20)
Pay Rate: £16.55 / hour
Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
Duration: Ongoing / Temp-to-Perm
About the Role
We are currently recruiting a reliable, hardworking General Labourer for a busy commercial site based in the Yeovil (BA20) area. This role starts immediately and offers consistent hours with the opportunity for long-term work for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting skilled tradespeople (carpenters, bricklayers, plasterers) on-site
- Loading, unloading, and moving building materials across the site
- Clearing waste, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Operating basic power tools and hand tools under supervision
- Following site health and safety guidelines at all times
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card (Green / Skilled worker card required)
- Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis vest/jacket, steel toe-cap boots)
- Previous experience working on a construction site
- Good work ethic, punctuality, and physical fitness
- Reliable transportation to/from the site in Yeovil (BA20)
