Experience & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 1 year working with children or young adults in a supportive capacity.
- Complex Needs: Proven ability to support students with complex needs and/or challenging behavior.
- Communication: Familiarity with non-verbal communication strategies and assistive technologies.
- Physical Support: Experience in moving and handling students with physical needs across various settings such as the classroom, pool, and gym.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents.
- Adaptability: Skilled in delivering differentiated activities tailored to individual learning plans.
Qualifications
Essential
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma or equivalent.
- Enhanced DBS check (Child and Adult) - must be on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
