Role: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Crawley
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start: Immediate or Negotiable
The Opportunity
Do you believe that every student deserves a champion? We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Inclusion Team in Crawley. This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit on the sidelines; it's for someone who wants to be at the heart of a student's success story.
In our school, an LSA is more than an assistant-you are a mentor, a guide, and a steady presence for students navigating the challenges of secondary education. Whether you are a graduate looking for classroom experience or someone from a coaching, care, or creative background, your unique perspective could be exactly what our students need.
What You'll Be Doing
Empowering Individuals: Working 1:1 or with small groups to break down barriers to learning.
Problem Solving: Tailoring classroom materials to help students with SEND "click" with the curriculum.
Mentoring: Helping students manage their emotions and build the social confidence they need to thrive.
Collaborating: Working as a key part of a dedicated team to ensure no child is left behind.
Who You Are
We care more about your values and personality than a long list of qualifications. You'll be a great fit if you are:
Resilient: You have a thick skin and a warm heart.
Intuitive: You can read a room and know when a student needs a quiet word of encouragement.
Adaptable: You're comfortable thinking on your feet when a lesson takes an unexpected turn.
Reliable: Our students thrive on consistency; they need someone they can count on every day.
Why This Role?
A Career with Purpose: Go home every day knowing you've actually helped someone.
Professional Growth: We invest in our people with ongoing training and development.
Stability: A permanent, full-time contract in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Ready to start your journey?
If you have the heart and the hustle to support our students, we want to meet you.
