As the Team Leader, you will actively participate in all daily warehouse tasks - leading by example -while supervising, motivating, and guiding a team of operatives.
Your leadership will be key to meeting and exceeding daily operational goals and ensuring all processes run smoothly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse operatives.
- Actively participate in all general warehouse duties (e.g., picking, packing, dispatch).
- Manage workflows and distribute tasks effectively to hit daily operational targets.
- Ensure rigorous Health and Safety standards are followed by all team members.
- Resolve operational issues and solve problems promptly as they arise.
- Train new team members and support their professional growth.
- Collaborate with management to continuously improve processes and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a team leader or supervisory role within a fast-paced warehouse or distribution setting.
- A strong, hands-on work ethic and the ability to inspire a team.
- Excellent leadership, motivational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in all general warehouse duties.
- The ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- A positive, collaborative attitude and commitment to teamwork.
