Are you an enthusiastic and committed KS1 teacher looking for a rewarding long term opportunity in Crawley?
We are currently seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school from Easter through to the end of the academic year. This is a full time position with full teaching responsibilities.
The Role:
- Full time Year 2 class teacher
- Full planning, preparation and marking
- Attendance at parent's evenings
- Full teaching responsibilities including assessment and reporting
- Working collaboratively with parallel teachers and SLT
- Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys taking full ownership of their class and building strong relationships with pupils and families across the summer term.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 2
- Strong knowledge of phonics and KS1 assessment frameworks
- Confidence with full classroom responsibilities
- A positive and proactive approach to behaviour management
- The right to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
