Our client, a leading in-house maintenance team are seeking an electrical bias maintenance engineer who will form an integral part of the multi-disciplinary engineering team. They will provide the expertise and accountability for the maintenance and operational undertaking for the estate, suitably qualified and experienced in the electrical industry.
Duties
- To complete all electrical biased assigned periodic PPM tasks
- To assist on all other assigned periodic PPM tasks
- To clearly record all results & findings from tasks on electronic PPM system
- To update all Building Services Logbooks.
- Liaise with other Building Services Supervisors on all aspects of Building Services.
- Ensure all required spares & materials are requested and therefore maintained to the necessary levels.
- Ensure the time management is closely monitored.
- Ensure operational procedures are followed to facilitate safe routine operations in accordance with Health & Safety statutory legislation.
- Ensure all risks or hazards are reported immediately to line manager.
- Comply at all times to the permit & emergency change processes for Maintenance, providing audit able processes and records.
Role specific
- Fully Qualified Electrician, NVQ Level 3 or above.
- 18th Edition British Standards BS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations, IET Wiring Regulations.
- Previous relevant Building Services experience
- Qualified in H&S Awareness
- Willingness to be included in the out of hours call out rota.
