We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Electrician to join our on-site team at a busy hospital estate in London. This is a static role within a complex and dynamic healthcare facility, offering a stable Monday to Friday work pattern, competitive salary, and the opportunity to be part of an essential service.
The Role:

Minor Installations & Upgrades: Carry out minor electrical installations, modifications, and upgrades as required, ensuring all work adheres to current regulations and hospital standards.
Building Services Support: Provide multi-skilled support where competent, assisting with basic mechanical plant checks, BMS monitoring, and general fabric issues as part of the wider maintenance team.
Emergency Response (On-Call): Participate in a 1-in-8 call-out rota, responding to out-of-hours electrical emergencies across the hospital estate. A driving license is essential for this purpose.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, plant readings, and incidents using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and site logbooks.
Health & Safety: Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, site-specific risk assessments, and safe systems of work (SSOW), ensuring a secure working environment for yourself, colleagues, patients, and visitors.
Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate professionally with clinical staff, hospital management, patients, and other contractors, providing clear updates on maintenance progress and resolutions.
