MAINTENANCE PLUMBER
£45,000 per annum Location: Marylebone, London
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Rotating Days & Nights)
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced, highly professional Maintenance Plumber to join our team on an exciting, newly won, high-profile corporate contract in the heart of Marylebone. This is a chance to work within a prestigious, state-of-the-art International Trading Centre environment, where quality of service and presentation are paramount.
The Role:
You will be responsible for providing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to the building's critical and non-critical plumbing and water systems. Given the high-end corporate nature of the site, a client-facing attitude and an impeccable standard of work are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out full planned and reactive plumbing maintenance across the commercial property, including all domestic hot and cold water systems, drainage, sanitary ware, and heating circuits.
Conduct statutory maintenance and inspections related to water systems.
Perform all work in compliance with UK Building Regulations, specifically relating to unvented hot water systems.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work completed.
Collaborate effectively with the wider on-site engineering team (28 personnel) to ensure continuous, high-quality service delivery.
Adhere strictly to all site health, safety, and operational procedures.
What We Require:
Trade Qualification: Must be C&G (City & Guilds) trained or hold an equivalent recognised plumbing qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3).
Desirable Certification: Current G3 Unvented Hot Water Certificate (mandatory for safe and legal work on pressurised unvented hot water storage systems).
Commercial Experience: Proven, demonstrable experience working within a "Blue Chip" Corporate or Commercial maintenance environment (e.g., banking, finance, luxury offices, or critical environments).
Vetting Requirements: Due to the security-critical nature of the site, you must be able to successfully pass a Clean DBS check and a full Credit Check.
