Job Title: Formulation Technician (GMP Laboratory)
Location: East Grinstead (The Birches)
Pay Rate: £13.46 / hour + 20% Shift Allowance
Contract: 6-Month Temp-to-Perm
Hours: 37.5 hrs/week average (3-week rotating daytime shift pattern, 1 weekend in 3)

We are hiring a Formulation Technician to join our production laboratory in East Grinstead. Working within an aseptic dispensing environment, you will play a key role in producing critical diagnostic products while adhering to strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and mix antimicrobic solutions, buffers, and media following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Set up, calibrate, and monitor production dispensing pumps, balances, and pipettes.
- Perform quality checks, weight verifications, and complete precise manual records.
- Maintain raw material inventory and support laboratory operations (washing/autoclaving equipment).
- Log production data using SAP ERP and MS Office.
What We Are Looking For:
- Education: A-Level (or equivalent) in a scientific subject (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, etc.).
- Experience: Background working within a laboratory, cleanroom, or GMP-regulated environment.
- Skills: Strong manual dexterity, high attention to detail, and solid teamwork.
- Flexibility: Able to work a 3-week rotating daytime pattern (06:30-18:30 window), including 1 weekend in 3.
