Key Duties
- Lesson Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Assessment: Grade coursework, track pupil progress, and provide constructive feedback to accelerate learning.
- Classroom Management: Maintain high standards of pupil behaviour and foster a focused learning environment.
- Exam Preparation: Prepare students thoroughly for target grades and upcoming GCSE examinations.
- Department Collaboration: Work alongside secondary Maths departments to support curriculum goals and school standards.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (ECTs/NQTs and experienced teachers are welcome).
- Degree level qualification in Mathematics or a related subject discipline.
- Proven track record of teaching Maths within the UK National Curriculum at Secondary level.
- An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Randstad).
