The Opportunity
As a Measurement Room Specialist, you will join the Quality Department, working across metrology and metallurgical laboratories to support both internally manufactured and externally supplied components.
You'll collaborate with engineers, production teams, maintenance, and management to deliver accurate measurement data that underpins quality, continuous improvement, and the site's journey toward becoming a world-class electric vehicle powertrain facility.

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Supporting the commissioning and introduction of new measurement equipment
- Measuring internal and externally purchased components using laboratory-based equipment
- Developing and improving test methods and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Producing clear and accurate measurement reports
- Supporting quality investigations through measurement and analysis
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure targets and deadlines are met
About You
We welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate some or all of the following:
- A completed Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship, or HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- Knowledge of measurement principles and processes
- Experience within a metrology laboratory environment (desirable, not essential)
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A proactive, adaptable approach with a willingness to learn
- An understanding of 5S and workplace organisation
