Are you a passionate, innovative educator ready to inspire the next generation of media creators and analysts? Randstad is recruiting an exceptional Media Studies Teacher / Lead Practitioner on behalf of Harris Academy Rainham.
In this dynamic role, you will deliver engaging Media Studies lessons across all secondary key stages, supporting pupils from Year 7 right through to Year 13 / Sixth Form. As a Lead Practitioner, you will also play a key role in driving high standards of classroom pedagogy, mentoring colleagues, and embedding best practice within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, inspiring Media Studies lessons across Years 7-13.
- Prepare Sixth Form students (Years 12 & 13) for A-Level and vocational Media qualifications, ensuring excellent progress and outcomes.
- Lead by example in high-impact classroom teaching, supporting colleagues through coaching and shared resources.
- Monitor pupil progress, deliver constructive feedback, and foster a supportive environment where all learners excel.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- A strong academic degree in Media Studies, Communications, or a closely related discipline.
- A proven track record of strong pupil outcomes across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 / Sixth Form.
- Outstanding communication skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
