We are seeking a qualified and proactive Mobile Electrician to join a specialized engineering team supporting critical water infrastructure in the Southampton area. Role Overview
Pay Rate: £23 per hour
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.
Start Date: 18/05/2026.
Location: Southampton / Hampshire (Mobile).
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Compliance: Carry out statutory Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical tasks across various sites.
Technical Repairs: Perform general maintenance and electrical repairs to ensure system reliability and safety.
Collaboration: Work effectively within a team of engineers to deliver high-quality service across the regional portfolio.
Equipment Management: Responsible for the correct use and maintenance of provided tools and digital equipment.
Requirements
Essential:
18th Edition: Must hold a valid 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (Mandatory).
Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required for this mobile position.
Professionalism: A reliable and trustworthy individual with a strong work ethic.
Desirable:
Qualifications: NVQ Level 2/3 and AM2 certification.
Testing: Experience in Testing and Inspection is highly desirable.
