Randstad C&P are working with a global facilities management client who are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with an extensive Fire Door background. This role will cover a portfolio of commercial contracts across the North of England.
The Package:
- Competitive salary of between £36,000 - £40,000 per annum.
- Full-time, permanent opportunity.
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Core Duties
- Perform scheduled and reactive remedial works, repairs, and adjustments on fire doors and frames.
- Carry out inspections, installations and repairs identified on fire doors.
- Assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks.
- Assisti with other trades including general maintenance, minor joiner, minor plumbing etc.
- Ensure all repairs and installations adhere strictly to regulatory standards.
- Accurately complete all necessary compliance documentation, reports, and certification logs using mobile technology.
- Collaborate with site teams and clients, ensuring high standards of workmanship and minimal operational disruption.
The Requirements:
- Prior fire door experience (Essential)
- NVQ Level 2 Carpentry (Desired)
- Experienced within a similar maintenance/trades position.
- Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Ambitious attitude and readiness to specialise in fire safety compliance.
- Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS.
