About the Role:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner for a mobile contract role covering housing sites and residential properties across East Yorkshire (including Hull, Beverley, and surrounding areas).
This position is ideal for a skilled craftsperson who takes pride in high-quality finishing and excels in a customer-facing environment. Working across both vacant and occupied properties, you will be responsible for investigating, repairing, and rectifying customer snags and defects to a high standard.
Role Responsibilities:
- Carrying out high-quality joinery repairs, door hanging, frame adjustments, skirting/architrave fitting, and kitchen repairs across new build and residential properties.
- Undertaking basic multi-skilled works including minor plaster patching, dry lining repairs, basic plumbing, and cosmetic touch-ups.
- Visiting customers in occupied homes to complete snagging lists while maintaining a polite, professional, and respectful manner.
- Inspecting defects, identifying root causes, and executing durable, clean rectifications efficiently.
- Managing day-to-day work tasks, communicating job updates to the site team, and ensuring work areas are left clean and safe.
What We Are Looking For:
- NVQ Level 2/3 or Time-Served Joiner / Carpenter (Essential).
- Valid CSCS Card (Essential).
- Solid background in residential joinery, customer care repairs, or reactive maintenance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Own tools suitable for finishing and multi-trade repair work.
- Valid UK Driving Licence (Essential for travel across East Yorkshire).
- Basic DBS Check (Desirable, but not essential - applications without a DBS are still strongly encouraged to apply).
