Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team in Horley as an Unqualified Nursery Assistant! If you have a caring nature and a desire to support the development of young minds, this is the perfect opportunity to start or continue your journey in childcare.
Responsibilities- Assist qualified early years practitioners in providing high-quality care, play, and supervision.
- Support daily nursery routines, activities, and meal times to ensure a smooth day for the children.
- Help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where children feel encouraged to learn and grow.
- Engage children in various play-based learning activities in line with EYFS standards.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, tidying play areas, and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Prior experience working in a nursery, school, youth club, or childcare setting.
- No formal childcare qualification is required for this role.
- Possession of an Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or a willingness to undergo a check prior to starting.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, reliable, and hands-on approach.
- Hourly rate: £14.00 per hour.
- Location: Horley, Surrey.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
