We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team in Plymouth for day-to-day cover. Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care and early education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Act as a Key Person to a group of children, tracking their progress and creating engaging, stimulating learning opportunities.
- Build strong, trusting, and professional relationships with children, parents, and carers.
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all health & safety, safeguarding, and child protection policies.
- Qualification: Level 3 Early Years Educator / Childcare qualification (or equivalent recognised standard).
- Experience: Proven experience working in a nursery or professional early years setting.
- Knowledge: Sound understanding of EYFS, child development principles, and robust safeguarding protocols.
- Commitment: Ability to work 8am-6pm.
- Compliance: Must hold an Enhanced DBS check (preferably on the Update Service) or be willing to undergo one prior to starting.
- Competitive hourly pay ranging from £14.00 - £16.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Flexible, day-to-day cover contract providing a variety of experiences.
