We're looking for a dedicated School Office Administrator to join our team in Chester. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using SIMS (School Information Management System) to ensure the smooth, efficient operation of the school office.
Pay Rate: £13.68 to £15.50 per hour, based on experience.
Locations: We have opportunities for school administrators across Chester CH1, CH2, CH3, and CH4.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
As a School Office Administrator, you will be a vital part of the school community, providing essential support to staff, students, and parents. Your duties will include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all visitors and inquiries, whether in person, by phone, or via email.
- Maintaining and updating student records, attendance, and admissions using the SIMS system.
- Managing general administrative tasks, such as handling correspondence, typing documents, and maintaining accurate filing systems.
- Assisting with the school's communication platforms and distributing information to parents and staff.
- Providing administrative support to the headteacher and other members of the senior leadership team.

- Essential experience with SIMS.
- A strong background in a school office or similar administrative role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- The ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check or a willingness to obtain one.
