Core Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Perform hardware receiving, inspection, put-away, and regular cycle counting to maintain high inventory accuracy.
Hardware Lifecycle: Manage daily hardware requests, including setup, installation, and configuration of laptops, network equipment, and security tokens.
Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate shipping and receiving of computer hardware and peripherals in compliance with transportation policies and parcel carrier procedures.
Operational Reporting: Perform data entry and system transactions; analyze data to create daily status reports for management.
Site Support: Deliver hardware to internal network sites and travel as needed to assist with hardware installations or removals.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency; review and update procedures to meet evolving business requirements.
Vendor Coordination: Meet with suppliers to ensure high-quality hardware deliveries and adherence to established lead times.
Required Experience & Skills
Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent with typically 2 years of professional experience
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of desktop support, PC repair, and hardware configuration is a plus.
Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications.
Logistics Expertise: Familiarity with hardware distribution methodologies and parcel carrier transportation networks.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and professional communication under pressure.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and drive company vehicles
