The Opportunity
A leading main contractor is looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercially strong and growing team, delivering logistically challenging, complex high-rise residential projects across West and South West London.
With live projects at early stages-including one currently in PCSA negotiation-this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing commercial team and take ownership of major work packages under JCT Design & Build contracts.
This is ideal for someone looking to step up into a Senior QS role in the near future, with full support from an experienced Commercial Manager and strong leadership structure.
Role Overview
Location: West & South West London (site-based with 1 day per week from office or home)
Projects: Major RC frame and high-rise residential schemes
Contract Type: JCT Design & Build
Duration: Long-term pipeline with secured work
Progression: Structured pathway into a Senior QS role
Key Responsibilities
Commercial management of major residential project(s)
Package procurement and subcontractor management
Handling valuations, variations, and payments
Supporting early-stage PCSA and pre-construction processes
Working closely with the site and leadership teams
Requirements
Strong experience on contracting schemes (RC frame and/or mixed-use)
Solid understanding of JCT D&B contracts
Comfortable managing packages independently
PCSA experience is useful but not essential
Ambitious, solutions-focused, and ready to grow into a Senior QS role
