We are partnering exclusively with property management and building surveying group in their search for an interim Payroll Manager. This is a 6 month temporary role with potential to go permanent for the right candidate. This role is based on Croydon offering hybrid working (3 days per week in the office) and is looking to pay up to £280 per day.
Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, the Payroll Manager's main responsibilities will be to:
- Process the payrolls of 8 companies within the group (550 employees)
- Post monthly journals into Sage 200
- Process monthly payroll of external client payroll for staff managed by the group
- Ensure correct calculation and deduction of PAYE, TAX, NIC, SMP,SSP etc
- Calculate the payments of P11D's and PSA's and submitting it to HMRC
- Managing BACS transfers for monthly salary payments, monthly HMRC payments and monthly
- Support the strategic acquisition policy with preparations and timely integration of the newly
acquired entities' payroll systems, people, and pension arrangements.
The right candidate will have:
Payroll qualifications required with a minimum of five years of payroll experience.

* Good understanding of all statutory requirements including pension reforms
* Team management skills
* Excellent Microsoft skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
* Experience of Sage 50 Payroll essential
* Experience of Sage 200 Accounts would be useful
