Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and operationally focused People Operations Manager to lead HR service delivery across a multi-jurisdictional footprint (Ireland, UK, and Europe).
This is a critical, hands-on leadership role designed for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. You will manage an operational HR team, optimize lifecycle processes, ensure cross-border regulatory compliance, and leverage HR data to support scalable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing People Operations team supporting operations across Ireland and the UK.
- Partner with People Business Partners and cross-functional leadership to align operational HR execution with wider business strategy.
- Build resilience into HR service delivery through cross-training, workload balancing, and agile support models.
2. Governance, Compliance & Data Integrity
- Own multi-jurisdictional HR compliance, ensuring adherence to employment law, GDPR, and emerging EU directives.
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready HR data flows and partner with payroll teams to guarantee seamless reporting and execution.
- Maintain HR system integrity, validation protocols, and standardised procedural documentation.
3. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Drive process standardisation, simplification, and automation across the HR function.
- Analyze operational metrics to identify efficiencies, resolve process bottlenecks, and implement long-term fixes.
- Enhance digital HR systems and tools to deliver user-friendly, scalable employee experiences.
4. Employee Lifecycle & Experience
- Oversee key lifecycle touchpoints-including onboarding, offboarding, and rewards administration-with a dual focus on compliance and engagement.
- Support employee relations and deliver accessible, high-quality HR support across a dispersed, site-based workforce.
- Foster a service-oriented culture centered on accountability, responsiveness, and operational rigor.
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential:
- Education: Degree in HR, Business, or a related discipline (NFQ Level 8 or equivalent).
- Professional Qualification: CIPD Level 7 or a relevant Postgraduate HR qualification.
- Experience: Proven track record in a People Operations / HR Service Delivery leadership role within a complex, multi-site, or international business.
- Mobility: Ability to work hybrid (3 days in Citywest) and travel bi-weekly to UK sites as required.
Desirable:
- Continuous Improvement certification (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent process optimisation training).
- Advanced training in employment law, data protection (GDPR), or HR analytics.
