The Opportunity
We are looking for a seasoned PMO Professional to join a specialized Design & Delivery Customer PMO team. This role is pivotal in supporting complex customer contracts within the Private Sector, ensuring high-quality governance and successful project delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
Governance & Risk: Setting up and maintaining governance structures for Risk, Change Management, and RAID logs.
Project Support: Working closely with Project Managers to ensure reporting deadlines are met and documentation accurately reflects project status.
Financial Oversight: Providing accurate commercial forecasting and using control tools to monitor budgets, expenditures, and resource hours.
Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships and liaising with key stakeholders at peer level and higher to ensure smooth operation.
Quality Assurance: Participating in Gateway reviews and conducting project closure/lessons-learnt sessions to improve future delivery standards.
The Skills You'll Need to Succeed
Security Clearance: You must hold an Active SC Clearance (Non-Negotiable).
PMO Expertise: Deep knowledge of PMO roles and responsibilities with the ability to coach and support a wider team.
Change Management: Proven experience in Change Management and the end-to-end project delivery lifecycle.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of MS Project, Service Management, or Design is highly desirable.
Qualifications: Ideally, you will hold an externally recognized qualification such as P3O, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
Mindset: A proactive, "can-do" attitude with great attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
