We are looking for a Primary ECT or experienced teacher for a Y1 class at our welcoming primary school in Widnes. The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our committed team. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, fostering a positive classroom culture, and supporting the diverse needs of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons.
- Maintain a well-managed, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress to ensure target outcomes are met.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, SEND teams, and senior leadership.
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider Wirral community.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience teaching across KS1 (ECTs warmly considered).
- Skills: Excellent classroom management, strong curriculum knowledge, and a passion for inclusive learning.
