We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming, community-focused primary school in Wickford who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher for a maternity cover placement.
The position starts this September and will run for the Autumn term, with a strong possibility of extending further into the academic year. The school is highly supportive, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers looking for flexibility and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) wanting to secure valuable upper-KS2 experience.
The Ideal Candidate:
Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching the KS2 curriculum.
Able to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that motivate energetic and curious Year 5 learners.
Possesses strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
Ready to hit the ground running and integrate seamlessly into a collaborative staff team.
