Production Operative
Location: Powys
Salary: £14.10 per hour (Inclusive of shift allowance, with all breaks fully paid)
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (2 Day shifts: 06:00 - 18:00, followed by 2 Night shifts: 18:00 - 06:00)
About the Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated and quality-focused Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. Operating on a state-of-the-art, BRC-accredited manufacturing site, you will play a crucial role in running production lines safely and efficiently.
While experience in food and beverage manufacturing or BRC-audited environments is highly desirable, we are also keen to hear from experienced operatives from pharmaceutical, medical device, or lighter industrial manufacturing backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
- Line Operations: Safely operate machinery and equipment on fast-paced production lines in accordance with
- strict health, safety, and food safety procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct consistent quality control checks throughout your shift, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability for all products.
- Hygiene & GMP: Maintain excellent Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, personal hygiene, and clean work areas.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team leaders and shift managers, raising any product deviations or safety hazards immediately.
What We Are Looking For
Essential:
- Previous experience working within a busy production or manufacturing environment.
- A strong commitment to safety protocols and food safety/hygiene standards.
- Effective communication skills with a proficient level of written and spoken English.
- An organised, proactive, and positive mindset with a "can-do" attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in food or soft drinks manufacturing.
- Knowledge of QC (Quality Control) systems and BRC audit requirements.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
- Basic computer literacy.
