Project Lead - Adult Services (Blackpool Council)- Adult Services Improvement Programme
Randstad are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Lead to join Blackpool Council's Adult Services on an initial 12-week contract, with a likely extension to 6 months.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and dynamic leader to play a key role in delivering transformational change within Adult Social Care. You will drive the Adult Social Care Improvement Plan, implement recommendations from CQC Local Authority Assurance, and lead high-impact projects that shape the future of services across the borough.
Rate: Up to £550 per day (umbrella)

Responsibilities:
Lead, coordinate, and deliver projects aligned with the Adult Social Care Improvement Plan
Oversee implementation of CQC Local Authority Assurance recommendations
Develop robust project governance, tracking, and evaluation processes
Engage with senior leaders, partners, and stakeholders across Adult Services and Health
Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement
Promote innovation, collaboration, and sustainable change within the service
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:
Proven experience delivering strategic projects or transformation programmes within Adult Social Care or local authority settings
Strong understanding of CQC Assurance, Care Act 2014, and adult social care frameworks
Excellent leadership, communication, and partnership skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results at pace
Degree-level qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline
