The Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple waste water civil engineering schemes, from initiation through to handover.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and reporting, ensuring rigorous cost control.
Oversee design development, procurement, and site construction activities.
Effectively manage client relationships (e.g., Water Utilities) and all project stakeholders.
Lead and motivate the site delivery teams, including Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors.
Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality regulations.
Manage project risks and opportunities proactively.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering civil engineering schemes.
Essential experience within the UK Water Sector is required, particularly with Waste Water Treatment Works (WwTW) or network projects.
A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract (e.g., NEC3/NEC4).
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrable track record of managing project finances and schedules.
SMSTS certification is desirable.
