Key Requirements & Project Focus
We are looking for a Project Manager with demonstrable expertise in the following areas:
Water Industry Experience: Significant experience managing projects across the full water cycle (treatment works, networks, reservoirs, flood defense, etc.).
Heavy Civils Management: Strong background in overseeing large-scale civil engineering elements, including reinforced concrete structures, earthworks, deep excavations, and foundations typical of water and utility infrastructure.
MEICA Integration: Proven ability to manage and coordinate the full MEICA scope of a project, ensuring seamless integration with civil elements. This includes control panel installations, pump station upgrades, instrumentation, and process equipment fitting.
End-to-End Project Delivery: Capability to manage the entire project lifecycle, from detailed design and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover.
What We Are Looking For
Exceptional Leadership: The ability to inspire and lead diverse, multi-disciplinary project teams, including design engineers, contractors, and client stakeholders.
Commercial Acumen: Expertise in managing project finances, contracts (e.g., NEC), risk registers, and change control.
Safety & Quality Focus: An uncompromising commitment to HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) standards and procedures on site.
Strong Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely.
Relevant Qualifications: A degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Project Management (or equivalent experience) is highly desirable, alongside relevant professional certifications (e.g., APM, Prince2).
