We are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Supervising Social Worker to join a supportive and well-established Fostering Team in the Stockport, Greater Manchester area. Responsibilities:
- Assessing and supporting prospective foster carers
- Providing ongoing supervision and support to foster carers
- Supporting children and young people in placement
- Building effective partnerships with external agencies and professionals
- Undertaking out-of-area assessments and visits as required
To be considered for this role, ideally you will have:
- Recognised Diploma/Degree in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- A minimum of 3 years' post-qualifying experience
- Strong knowledge of Fostering Services National Minimum Standards and Regulations
- Experience completing Form C and Form F assessments
- A flexible, motivated, and collaborative approach to practice
