If so, Randstad is recruiting for a Social Worker to join the Leeds City Council. This is a full-time role offering up to £35 per hour.
Here's the Role:
- Building meaningful and trusting relationships with children and young people through regular, high-quality statutory visits.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing comprehensive care plans that are ambitious and tailored to each child's unique needs.
- Working creatively and directly with children, including undertaking essential life story work to help them understand their journey.
- Championing permanence by working with families, foster carers, and legal services to progress plans for reunification, SGO, or adoption where appropriate.
- Collaborating effectively with foster carers, residential staff, schools, health partners, and other professionals to form a strong support network around the child.
- Preparing high-quality reports for statutory reviews and court proceedings.
- Supporting older children and young people as they prepare for independence and transition into adulthood.

Requirements:
- Social Work England registered
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS
Experience:
- Children's Social Work
