Hours: Mon - Fri; 8-hour days
Pay Rate: £50.96 - £56.96/hour
Location: Reading
As a Quality Engineer, you will be the eyes and ears on-site, ensuring that everything built aligns perfectly with rigorous design specifications and quality standards.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Reviewing and accepting procedures and documentation in strict accordance with QC1 requirements.
Conducting thorough QC inspections according to accepted Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Getting out where the action is to witness crucial tests and conduct hands-on, on-site inspections.
Managing the ongoing review and final acceptance of Lifetime Quality Records (LTRs).
Attending and contributing to vital project and progress meetings.
What You Bring to the Team
To excel in this environment, you'll need to hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will possess:
Active SC Clearance (or above) is essential for this secure site.
Proven experience in a quality-focused role working on a major infrastructure project.
A strong civils bias with deep knowledge of civil engineering practices.
he ability to read and seamlessly understand complex drawings, alongside experience conducting on-site inspections against approved Detailed Designs.
A valid CSCS card and proficiency with MS Office suite.
