Pay Rate: £13.86 per hour +22% shift allowance
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Days (Monday to Friday) | 07:00-15:00 and 15:00-23:00 rotating
Contract Length: 6-month initial contract
Location: Swindon
As a Quality Inspector, you will perform manual visual inspections of filled vials under controlled conditions (proper lighting, background, and inspection booths) to ensure strict compliance with quality standards.
Your daily tasks will include:
Detecting & Rejecting Defects: Identifying vials with particulate matter, cosmetic damage (scratches, cracks), incorrect fill volumes, or container closure issues.
Product Segregation: Correctly separating accepted and rejected units.
Compliance & Standards: Following approved SOPs, batch records, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
Accurate Documentation: Logging inspection results clearly in line with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and reporting any unusual trends to your supervisor.
What We Are Looking For
Education: Elementary (GCSE) Mathematics and English.
Skills: Incredible attention to detail and the ability to maintain high concentration over extended periods.
Vision: Good visual acuity (with or without correction) and the ability to pass a standard visual check.
Basic understanding or awareness of GMP / GDP / Data Integrity principles.
Experience working within a pharmaceutical, food, or heavily regulated production environment.
A self-driven, consistent, and reliable approach to work.
