We are looking for a skilled Refrigeration Engineer with specific experience in Retail Distribution Centers. This isn't your standard commercial fridge repair role; you will be responsible for the maintenance, fault-finding, and optimization of large-scale industrial cooling systems that power regional supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
PPM's Execute planned inspections on large-scale industrial packs, blast freezers, and chilled loading bays.
Rapid Response: Attend reactive breakdowns to minimize downtime and prevent product loss in high-volume distribution environments.
System Optimization: Monitor and adjust PLC control systems to ensure maximum energy efficiency and temperature stability.
Compliance: Maintain rigorous F-Gas records and ensure all systems meet current environmental and safety regulations.
Upgrades: Assist with small projects, including component replacement and system retrofits.
Requirements
- Industry Background: Direct experience working within retail distribution hubs or large-scale food logistics.
Qualifications: * C&G 2079 (F-Gas) Category 1 (Essential).
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Experience with VRV's, VRF's, chillers, Air handling units
- Have commerical retail experience in FMCG
- Flexible with a positive attitude and approach
