About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will assume full responsibility for the operational success and regulatory compliance of the children's residential home. You will provide strategic leadership to a dedicated team, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered in accordance with OFSTED regulations. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Strategic leadership and management of the home.
- Ensuring full compliance with OFSTED regulations and quality standards.
- Leading, developing, and mentoring a team of care professionals.
- Implementing and overseeing individualized care plans.
- Cultivating a culture prioritizing safeguarding and emotional well-being.
- Effective management of budgets, resources, and operational aspects.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with external agencies, families, and the local community.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's residential setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OFSTED regulations and quality standards.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A demonstrable passion for positively impacting the lives of young people.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the home.
