About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will be the cornerstone of this therapeutic home. You will lead an established team, guiding them in a culture of emotional safety and connection, grounded in the principles of PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) and Dyadic Developmental Practice (DDP). Every interaction, every decision, will be driven by connection, empathy, and mutual respect, fostering an environment where children can heal from complex trauma and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operational & Regulatory Oversight: Full responsibility for the children's home, ensuring all operations and regulatory requirements are met.
- Therapeutic Leadership: Lead and inspire your team with a therapeutic mindset, seamlessly integrating PACE and DDP into daily practices.
- Culture Champion: Build and nurture a team culture that deeply aligns with the organisation's core values.
- Child-Centred Support: Ensure the emotional and developmental needs of children are met through trauma-informed care and tailored individual plans.
- Positive Outcomes: Champion positive outcomes for each child, advocating for their well-being and growth.
- Reflective Supervision: Provide emotionally intelligent and reflective supervision to your team.
- Compliance & Improvement: Ensure robust compliance with Ofsted requirements and actively drive continuous service improvement.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with families, professionals, and external partners to deliver a holistic care approach.
We're Looking For:
- Experienced Leader: At least 4 years of experience in residential childcare, including a minimum of 2 years in a management role with a proven track record of Ofsted "Good" or higher.
- Qualified: Hold the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Trauma-Informed Expertise: A deep understanding of trauma, attachment, and child development.
- DDP & PACE Advocate: Committed to DDP-informed care and the principles of the PACE model.
- Compassionate & Accountable: A leader who embodies compassion, accountability, and a profound understanding of relational care.
- Child-Centred: A strong advocate for co-regulation, reflective practice, and a truly child-centred approach.
- Quality Driven: Comfortable working closely with regulators and passionate about achieving "Outstanding" outcomes.
- It is imperative that you hold a full UK Driving Licence
