Key Responsibilities
- Deliver nurturing, round-the-clock care to vulnerable young individuals in residential settings across Fife.
- Assist service users managing social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties (EBD) resulting from early trauma.
- Promote independence and personal growth by supporting education, routines, and local community activities.
- Uphold robust professional boundaries while adhering strictly to SSSC guidelines and National Care Standards.
- Work seamlessly alongside permanent care teams to ensure a safe, structured, and warm environment.
- Maintain flexibility across a range of shift patterns, including day shifts, sleepovers, waking nights, and weekends.
What We Are Looking For
- Background: Direct experience working within a residential childcare environment.
- Compliance: Active PVG Scheme membership (Children's Workforce) or readiness to register.
- Qualifications: SVQ Level 3 in Social Care (Children and Young People) or an equivalent qualification is strongly preferred.
- Driving: A full UK driving licence is beneficial for commuting between services across Fife.
- Key Attributes: Exceptional communication, resilience, empathy, and a positive approach to care.
