We're seeking experienced Residential Childcare Workers to join our dedicated team across multiple homes in Scotland. In this vital role, you'll become a consistent, trusted adult, providing essential emotional and practical support to vulnerable young people.
About the Role
As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will:
- Be a consistent source of safety, structure, and care for children who have experienced trauma, neglect, or disability.
- Empower young people to build resilience and confidence through everyday guidance and positive relationships.
- Act as a keyworker, ensuring individual needs are met and personal development plans are meticulously followed.
- Collaborate effectively with families and other professionals to support holistic care planning.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for individuals who are:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in residential childcare.
- Hold an SVQ3 Children & Young People + HNC (or actively working towards these qualifications).
- Registered (or eligible to register) with the SSSC.
- Possess a valid UK driving licence (essential).
- Confident, compassionate, and available to work unsocial hours when needed.

Your Shift Options
We offer flexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle:
- Full-Time: A rolling 9-week rota of 3 x 24-hour shifts (includes 8-hour paid sleepover) followed by 3 days off.
- Part-Time: Opportunities for 12-hour or 6-hour shifts.
- Enhanced pay for shifts worked on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
